About the artist -

Sue Trosvig's passion for stained glass began with a class in 1983. From that time on, she has been inspired and captivated by the colors, textures and interplay of light and glass. This interest has resulted in new challenges, travels and many new friends. Sue has attended classes and seminars from Baltimore to Seattle, searching for new techniques, knowledge and products that will make her work in glass more artistic and meaningful. She has won awards in several competitions with her creations.

The main focus of her work has been residential installations such as: sidelights and doorlights for entries, bathroom windows for privacy, and framed hanging panels. The subject matter of her work has ranged from nature to classic bevels, from whimsical pieces to contemporary. Nature has always been a major inspiration.

Computer aided design has made the creation of stained glass panels easy and fun. With the click of a mouse the glass color and/or texture can be changed to experiment with the possibilities for each design. These designs can then be emailed to the client for their approval or revision.
